Marlborough Antiques & Restorations was established in 1989 in a small corner shop in Leichhardt, Sydney.
Specialising in Austrian bentwoods by Thonet and Kohn they soon became known as ‘the chair people’. From simple 19th Century bentwood café chairs to intricate double-sided French bergère chairs, to 20th Century designer chairs, Jennifer applies equal skill and diligence to her craft.
In 1996 Marlborough Antiques & Restorations had a sea-change, moving to Milton on the NSW south coast where Mark and Jennifer continue their work as caners and restorers, making weekly trips to Sydney via the Southern Highlands to pick up and deliver work to their customers.
